About Chicago Mini Bus Travel™

Chicago Mini Bus Travel™ was started in 2004 with 10 buses. Today we are the largest mini bus company in Chicagoland. Our strong management team and vision for future growth affords us the ability to offer our clients continued safe, reliable and affordable transportation options to meet their needs.

We promote and maintain the highest standards for bus service. We follow strict DOT regulations, even exceeding government requirements for Driver Enforced Policies. Our drivers all have a minimum of two years experience with both the required CDL and P endorsed licenses. Safety is the top priority for their training and we adhere to stringent drug and alcohol testing. The net result of our efforts: a top DOT rating for audit compliance and a clean accident record.

At our core we are Relationship Driven™ and Customer Focused. That means we are committed to providing our customers with the best possible degree of service. We create strong partnerships with our corporate clients including Career Builder, Chicago Cubs, HSBC, Hyatt Lodge, and McDonalds.

We believe strongly in giving back to our community. We have participated in countless neighborhood events as well as McDonalds Corporation and the DuPage Police Association annual Hospital Toy Run, Habitat for Humanity, the Adam Bender Pitch and Hit Club of Chicago with the Chicago Cubs, Families of Fallen Soldiers and the Children’s Miracle Network with Sam’s Club.

About Letty Hudson

When President/CEO Letty Hudson started Chicago Mini Bus Travel™ in 2004 with just 10 buses, her determination and vision were evident immediately. During that first year, she doubled the fleet and increased sales to more than two million dollars. From mail and fax campaigns to aligning the company’s mission, Letty wore many hats. Yet, even with her supervision of marketing, scheduling, reservations and billing, she never lost her focus on the client. Today, the company is the largest mini bus company in the Chicagoland area.

Letty is a member of the Women President’s Organization (WPO), the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC) and the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). She is also a strong supporter of the National Council of La Raza and serves as a board member for Enterprising Women Magazine. She credits the relationships she has built through these organizations for contributing to and supporting her success. Her honors and recognition have included 2008 Biz-Over recipient, speaking on the Step-Up Women’s Network Panel, a Business Ledger 2008’s ‘Influential Women in Business’ honoree and 2009 Grant Recipient from the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She is a frequent public speaker and sought after media spokesperson.

Letty’s entrepreneurial vision and determination began when she was 15 years old. She enjoyed the satisfaction of a job well done and began to notice the passion she had for customer service. Recognized as a hard worker, she was offered a position as a store manager at age 19. She has applied the benefits of her “hands on” experience throughout her career. With the growing success of Chicago Mini Bus Travel™, she has begun to reap the benefits of her persistence and hard work.

Letty and Chicago Mini Bus Travel™ were featured in a Chicago Tribune article in December 2007 highlighting her philanthropic activities. She donates vehicles to charitable organizations, as well as donating time to causes alongside her employees.

She is an advocate for women in business and always has time to mentor, sharing her experiences and knowledge. The time spent giving back to others has been both a rewarding and bonding experience for members of the company.
